Chaka Khan
Another late one. Played an instore in HMV in Belfast today. I was worried no-one would show but the audience were great and it was a pleasure having Ursula Burns along for the fun. Hectic day of interviews and running around though have finally got into thinking through the upcoming tour. I have sooooo much to do for it and just the small matter of an art exhibition and a song book to be created before that! Chaka Khan is coming along nicely though!

Duke it was brillant I was the girl whose batteries had worn out - what a naff thing to say to you - you said 'really' I felt for you! I wanted to say your songs take me to another place that I haven't been to for a long time and I laugh and cry at the same time - isn't that great! You are an artist of course and I ve been very slow to find you - sorry! Also don't worry about the cancer kids if its a no go. Don't burn out - we need you - take care
