Hi!Im new to belfast but been a duke special fan for a while.Just wondering do tickets sell out for the Empire pretty fast? Thanks!

Hi Sionna,
They'll sell out faster than the previous concerts I'm sure, but you should be able to get them until shortly before the gig itself. The last gigs I has at, I got them about an hour before the concert, but it was close and there was a lot of hair-pulling to get to the front of the queue! ;-) You'll need to get them before I did of course, but I can't see them selling out too quickly.

What brings you to Belfast?

the last empire show i managed to get tickets on the door... i guess i was one of those people pulling hair to get to the front of the queue. the empire doesn't usually sell out too quickly but there's been a lot of 'new' interest in the duke so you never know :)

Aww thanks!!Got a place just around the corner from the empire so suppose i can pop i and get tickets anytime.It'll be a nice change than seeing him play in Dolans,Limerick.Im in Belfast on work placement for five months.Working at some Agricultural and food lab,ages away from where we're staying so gotta figure out the city buses when we go up :)

Yeah theres 4 of us coming up,staying in a lovely apartment.Lab is at new forge road???Havent a clue where that is to be honest.Sorry dont mean to be changing the subject of this topic now but any chance ye can recommend an internet cafe on botanic avenue, cause i dont know where anything is yet and dunno what ill do without my computer :!:

There one literally a two minute walk from Botanic Ave called Revelations - it's in a small place called Shaftsbury Square - New York's "Times Square" of Belfast :-) I've been there once, nice enough place. I can't remember what the prices were like, but I'm sure they're all the same these days.

There one literally a two minute walk from Botanic Ave called Revelations - it's in a small place called Shaftsbury Square - New York's "Times Square" of Belfast :-) I've been there once, nice enough place. I can't remember what the prices were like, but I'm sure they're all the same these days.

Thanks!Found one at the top of the bot avenue,right across from Dukes.Are tickets for the gig available in the bar cause the upstairs never seems to be open during the day.

Went to the bar to get tickets and they told me that they dont sell them and that I have to get them off ticketmaster or on the door that night.but since it was duke special they're expecting it to sell out so they most likely wont have any for the door. :?

you can still get them online on ticketmaster for both nights... i wouldn't chance just turning up on the night!

Spent last Thursday evening in the delightful company of Leya (well known to Duke). Told everyone at the Anson Rooms to invest their reddies in seeing our man there next week (nice posters up, I have to say)......I'll invoice the Duke accordingly :wink:
