havent heard a thing dude.

i've given up on bands progress reports from the studio, after patiently waiting on the new damien rice album for about 4 years now. its always "a few weeks away". bastard. biffy clyro are doing the same thing, as if to take the piss out of me.
i'll doubtless enjoy the new hal album when i get hold of it, but i am giving no more sleepless nights to bands in the studio.

Paul Allen was writing to us back in May, and then he was meeting up with us at Duke's Empire shows........then.....nothing........

Hello all



We know we've been pretty quite for some time, so this is just a quick note to fill you in on what we've been up to. We've been quite busy believe it or not.



After having a fantastic series of tours and getting to meet so many of our friends again (you know who you are!) plus having the opportunity to make new ones, we took a well needed break to catch up with family and friends. That didnt last though as it wasnt long before we were dying to get back in to it again.



At the moment we are working on some new material, for what will be our second album. We are starting to get excited about some of the songs as they are coming together nicely and are developing a certain sound of their own. Hopefully we won't get too carried away and they will still have the Hal sound you all know and love.

as a species we tend to be unreliable. especially when we're young. it keeps us mysterious. at least thats how we like to see it.

Dunno how many of you guys appreciate HAL, but they had one of the (well maybe the 2nd) best albums of 2005.

They've been recording the 2nd album for 12 months (I hope Duke doesn't take so long when he goes back to the studio!) but word is the new songs are terrific.
