If anyone is around in London on Thursday 1st June, it would be well worth your while checking out Hawksley Workman. He's playing at the Borderline which is a good venue.
Hawksley's a Canadian singer-songwriter, bit on the quirky side, and his shows have been described as "vaudevillian". He has an excellent voice and beautiful poetic songs. He doesn't come to London very much (I think the last time was 3 years ago) and he only has one UK date this year.
I highly recommend him! :)
