Hello...I'm new here but not to Duke Special...haven't seen him since a support slot with Bell X1 in Limerick ages ago, was an instant fan after that! Going to venture over the border to Wrexham tomorrow and wondered if anyone else off here was going too...? Always good not to have to stand around looking like Billy No Mates and everyone on here seems really nice  ...happy to help sell cheese graters if required too!

Well, what a sublime evening...a criminally small but very appreciative audience ventured out in the horrendous rain and were ultimately enticed by the trail of beers laid out in front of the stage...it always feels very special to be part of these intimate gigs, if not annoyed that more people haven't opened their eyes to this talent.
Judging by the cluster of people at the merch stall afterwards there were some new converts...really wanted to buy the new album box set but am too poor :( ...maybe in Wolverhampton, which I have to say looks slightly bizarre, calling itself a fine dining establishment 8)

There's going to be some difference to that gig and the gigs that are going to be happening in the Empire! The Empire is a large-enough pub/theatre, and it's been sold out twice!

Hello, I was at the gig last night, I was one of the people sitting on the step infront of the sound desk. I saw Duke Special for the first time at greenbelt last year and bought his eps and I've loved him ever since, so I was really glad that all the people I went with loved him too! It was such a great gig. I guess it's quite sad when not that many people turn up but at the same time it made it such a special experience.

i too was tempted by the box set but have no money. I had to settle for a set of badges instead :)
