Wow! First time I've ever seen the Duke live. Only came across him a week ago online while perusing Polly Paulusma's 'My Space' site. Isn't the internet great for coming across such talent..........

Tonight's gig was amazing. Songs full of passion and articulated in such a sensitive manner, makes anyone with an ounce of humanity inside them, melt at the man's feet......

Delicious, delightful, de-lovely.............

Here's to health and happiness Mr. Duke.........you left fifty Mancunians with huge smiles on their faces............a rare free-spirit in such controlling of times.....

I couldn't help but giggle at the horde piling out of the MEN Arena (I think it was 'Take That').........I could almost hear their bleated 'baa-ing' as they passed by.

Makes me want to travel down to Wrexham and do it all over again.....

yeah, was a trul;y wonderful show. there was a couple sat with my girlfriend and i (it may be you actualy) who had never seen duke before- and by the end they most definatly looked impressd.

chips 'lessons' were definatley a highlight- but freewheel, salvation tamborine, and scarlett proberbly hit me the most.

this guy deserves (but for selfish reasons, i hope doesnt ) to be huge!

A lovely intimate venue, with a brill atmosphere, everybody was so into the music. its rare to see such passion onstage & was certainly one of the best gigs ive seen ever. Your music is truely beautiful & from the heart & the goosebumps were mighty!!! Chip was on form & thoroughly entertained us with his mad style!! So thanks again...keep us enthralled with your music & look forward to seeing you again later this year.

can anyone remember the name of the chap in the bart simpson t-shirt that supported duke in may? he was a solo guy, using a loop pedal (like david ford)? wanted to get his cd, but the duke boxset was TOO amazing to miss!
