The amazing Pilots

Since I basically discovered Duke and the Pilots in the same week (two weeks ago) I'd thought I'd ask if there are any other Pilots fans here? I love the Pilots CD and look forward to a new one...they also did a superb set opening for Duke at Dolan's in Limerick on June 1st.

Plus, Paul of the Pilots wrote "Slip of Girl"!

And apparently Phil Wilkinson his brother wrote "Your Vandal" off the "Your Vandal" ep!!!

Superb wee band, caught them in Derry supporting the Duke on the 3rd, beautiful songs. They played a some new tracks which sounded excellent so looking forward to their next release. I urge everyone to check them out.
Was impressed too with Chuzzle/Shookman, the support slot on the Saturday night in the Empire, first saw them support JJ72 last year but they sound very different now!!
The Duke certainly chooses support acts well :wink:

i was fairly disappointed with the amazing pilots perormance in belfast. i KNOW they can play so much better... chuzzle/shookman were great though, highly entertaining!

I was at the gig in Whelans when they played support to Duke and the crowd werent really kind to them. There was a pair of girls yapping throughout the whole thing and most of duke too!! :x grr
I thought that they were really good.

Sorry for some reason all i read there was "There was a pair of girls..." and remembering back to the days when girls did throw things up onto the stage..... but then i remembered this forum had taste! :P :P
