You know it's a 2-way street Dukester.....best fans in the world? I think so!
I only made it to Wrexham and Wolverhampton but I enjoyed both nights immensely...and finally met Mr.& Mrs.Duke of Hal...Helen, thank you for your company!
I do hope the Duke gets the success and recognition he deserves but it is nice to enjoy these low key dates whilst we have him to ourselves!

I want to add my thanks too! :) I went to Swindon, Brighton and London and they were three v. different gigs and all excellent. And the new album is amazing - I'll be playing that over and over till the next tour! Don't stay away too long.....

Helen, sorry I never got round to doing a Wolves report (we all know it was class - including Duke changing his set to accomodate my drunken workmate's request for 'shum Joy Divishun'), but there was a sniff of some London dates towards the end of the summer.
(*hopes it's ok for me to say that*)
Cheers Paul, you've made my day! :)
I was going to ask you where the Wolves report got to - I was worried it may have been below par as there was no feedback... But that's not possible is it? I've seen lots of Duke gigs and there's never been one that was less than excellent!
Well, I tried to post a Wolves report but the stupid board kept dying on me and so I gave up :?
Suffice to say it was fab, a slightly strange set up with the two of them squeezed into a corner of a cafe bar (in fact, didn't see Chip for most of it), great set (I so love Brixton Leaves) with Joy Division and Razorlight covers too and a small but very appreciative audience who didn't really want to let him go home! Thomas Truax was great too, my first time of seeing him and I got to meet Paul and Helen and bumped into a couple more people I knew so it turned into a most enjoyable evening! Bought my box set and got it signed  What a thing of loveliness it is, great of V2 to go with the idea of vinyl, I only hope they give him all the support he needs to be a household name!

Yeah, Wolves was amazing, would have posted something at the time but the board was playing up.
Unfortunately me and my friends had to leave in the gap before the encore to make sure we didn't miss our train back to Birmingham  Was gutted to miss the end but we got to see most of an amazing gig, really hope I get another chance to see the Duke soon! Can anyone who was there remember what was played in the encore?
