Alot like "the big tape swap" only alot more acssesable and easily updated daily if needs be I would like to start a "continuous playlist." This is merely laying out what you are listening to at home, in work or elsewere. More or less just to give people something to look up and listen to and show everyone's taste as a whole.
Youth Group - Forever Young
Imogen Heap - Just For Now/Goodnight and Go
Modest Mouse - Bukowski
The Eels - Saturday Morning
Death Cab For Cutie - A Lack Of Colour

Oh trust me, there would be no competition...your version, sneaky's version and obviously ANY of Peter's versions (that goes without saying) are better than mine!

i really like it. less commerically viable than 'o', but there are some amazing moments on it, notably elephant and accidental babies.
doesnt use lisa's incredible voice enough though. i think i love her.
still, i think its great.

*Runs to corner scared of Sian's response*
Gary a homo, lies! lol
Lisa Hannigan and Gary sung a duet together called "Some Suprise" for a charity cd called The Cake Sale. Here is the link if anyone is interested in having a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcdjUf45F3g&eurl=
They sound great together, in my opinion she sounds much better with him than Martha Wainwright, their voices are much more suited. Sian my dear I'm sure Gary still wants to marry you, he couldn't betray you like that Mrs Lightbody. :D
On the thread topic.....I'm still have "Songs from the Deep F...." album on replay and I'm also listening to the Reindeer section "Son of an Evil Reindeer" album alot too, mainly "Your Sweet voice", "Grand Parade","You are my Joy" and "Where I fall". :)

hah i wish i had a girlfriend who bought me suicide girls dvd's!!!
actually just the dvd would do...
anyway last night's surprising selection of music involved nothing that has been released in the last ten years!! and included...
dusty springfield (breakfast in bed, i don't want to hear it anymore - from dusty in memphis)
beach boys (good vibrations, sloop john b, god only knows, trombone dixie - from pet sounds)
alisha's attic (alisha rules the world, i am i feel, irresistable you are - from alisha rules the world)
travis (all i wanna do is rock, under 16 girls, more than us, happy - from good feeling)
stereophonics (thousand trees, traffic - from word gets around)
also thrown in there was some bends era radiohead and echo park era feeder... and also a sneaky john d'arcy song that obviously WAS released in the last ten years.
i'm currently awaiting downloads of the 2006 releases by tom waits, bob dylan, bruce springsteen and the complete back catalogue of b-sides, live tracks and rarities by conor oberst.
