Anyone else on it?Just noticed theres a new bands section.Know alot of people prefer myspace but i just think its pretty awkward looking and to use.Look who I have for my flashbox :D

Yes there is a new bands part to bebo. It's an attempt to try and compete with myspace, most people prefer bebo though due to having none of the anti spam of "thanx for the add" crap that is spawned onto nearly every page to try and give people more friends to show a superiority or likeability.

The new bebo one will be a more person to person sort of thing with people knowing you as a "real" friend rather than a person from across the world who just added you for the friends count.

Yeah I'm on there but only to keep in contact with college friends and stuff because everyone seems to think myspace is too hard to navigate. I'm certainly not its biggest fan but I use it post up gig photos and such.....pity they take forever to upload...hence why Ive still only got three dukey ones up so far but yeah check my flashbox too :D

do you dudes not find bebo a bit fake? I was on it until about a week ago, it just annoyed me so much. There's something so trivial about it, I never actually did anything of any use on it.......just wasted many many hours......

I'm definately a bebo girl myself, don't know what it is about myspace, just could never really get into it. Although I did think it was a good idea for bebo to bring in their 'bands' section to get everyones music heard. Is the Duke thinking of coming into the bebo world does anyone know?!

If anybody is looking to know how to get Duke Special flashes on their bebo, click on the upload video above your flash box and then click on the upload from "Youtube URL"...

Then all you have to do is cut and paste in the web address from youtube.com! :wink:

Bebo rules the school for mise. :) It's simple to use and a great way of keeping in contact with my college and school buddies. Esp love the new groovy widget thing for all the snaps. The prob with myspace is you can do too much with it and some pages end up looking cluttered.

I had the bebo bug bt it got really fake. I did use it to keep in touch with people i hadnt seen in ages but thn in school it became some weird obsession thing with people trying to gt he most page views/comments. I decided to delete cos i nealy got pulled into it... One day i even said 'why am I not in your top 16' ...the shame... and also gt fed up with stupid wee girls making bands with all their wee friends. So I switched to myspace... although all my friends r on Bebo so i dnt kno anyone on it! lol It's
