Everyone in Belfast tells me Foy is worth seeing, his accompaniment (?) of Duke on Other Voices seemed to support the view.......

.......so go on, convince me!

Evening....Just listening to Duke on ACL. Top man!

Saw Foy last Thursday supporting Bell X1 and was just blown away! Never seen a support artist receive so much appreciation.

The venue was so impressed that they invited him to support again on Tuesday night...for the Spinto Band. Again he was awesome.

He appears on Janice Long's show on Wed...I believe!

Go and enjoy this fabulous voice....

BTW....Pete seems to be holding his own with Stuart!

Cheers

Justin :)

I've only just got into Foy, I was completely sold when I saw him live a couple of weeks ago. I found his new video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4cjCuUQUwI

Really good song, but doesn't convey how good he is live! Well worth seeing!

For anyone in the vicinity, Foy is playing the Pigalle Club in London on 17th January. Don't be put off by the price which is listed as ?40 on some websites - that's for a meal as well, otherwise tickets are ?10 for standing (and no food!).

I'm gonna try and get along to that one. I love the new single!

oopsy! Sorry about the coat Ged! I thought it was an excellent gig though I wasn't over-enamoured with the venue (probably wouldn't moan if I'd been sat at one of the front tables!). I've written it up for eGigs so I'll post the link later.

Really good to meet you and "tippex79" - what a coincidence to be stood next to other Duke forum bods! See you at ULU no doubt... :)

It was a bit of a weird venue for a proper gig as there weren't many places to stand to see the stage, with the bar area being so far removed from the stage. But Foy was great so it didn't really matter. I was especially pleased that he forgot his kapo, as it meant we got to hear Billie Jean and Crosstown Traffic while his mate was fetching it.

Lovely to meet you Helen and I'll be sure to say hi at ULU.

My review's online here: http://www.egigs.co.uk/index.php?a=11466
The photo's really awful - I blame the low ceilings and bad stage lighting (surely not my fault!) :(

For those of you that might be interested, Foy is back at the Pigalle club on May 14.

An extra few pounds have been added to the ticket price this time around - hopefully it's a sign that Foy is going up in the world.

Thanks for that news Tippex. I hope Foy is on the up but I wish the Irish singers would drop the Pigalle Club - it's a terrible venue! :(

(Jack L's back there on 27th April!)

Yeah - it's just a weird place to go unless you're prepared to ?50 for a meal - the bar area is in the wrong place in relation to the stage. They need to seriously thing about rejigging the floor plan.
