I think I've mentioned on here before that despite my lack in interest in B south I was gonna be really nice and bring my mum along to the gig (not totally selfless act here) but anyway after much arguing with my mum and her having brought up every single excuse under the sun as to why we shouldnt go I finally got peed off and decided to just bring the boyf but then mum took great satisfaction in telling me that its sold out??!! :? :!: Say it aint so Duke or Admin or anyone in the know???!!

i'd always stay for the headlining band.. sort of disrespectful.. if it wasn't for the Beautiful South.. duke wouldn't be playing...

I dont know about it being disrespectful. Its not like the entire crowd are gonna leave with me. Would it not be worse if I stood there looking bored and miserable?
Besides I see it more as a means of supporting Duke Special, thats my reason for going. The last time I saw Duke in Waterford was in this dodgy club type place where they were playing trance and techno till Duke got up so as you can imagine he didnt really get the kind of crowd who would appreciate him. I just want to see him come back and conquer Waterford as it were...
