Duke Gets Full Page in Q!!

Hey, has anyone seen the latest issue of Q? there's a full page spread about duke's new album, it gives it 4 stars/5!!! a bit miffed that people keep comparing him to badly drawn boy and even mention divine comedy in the same breath, aghh! However it's still very positive and has a wee mini interview with Peter, do you think we've seen the last of the Duke in wee places like the empire and aunty annies?

course it is. just glad us boardies can all look back one day and say

while duke deserves to become wildly rich and famous, we should never underestimate the stupidity of the general public. i mean we're dealing with people who have made james blunt the number one selling artist of the last 5 years.

please take a moment to allow that fact to sink in.

Just reading the article now. Certainly a good review!!

Cant but smile at some of it like "twinkly, bewitching music sounds as if it has come tiptoeing out of Tim Burton's A Nigthmare Before Christmas" :)

The Belfast accent seems to go down a treat with this reviewer as well, not that you can blame them, it is sooooo nice ;)

Reviewer says 'though he doesn't quite posses the common touch that will see him resident in the charts for months on end, Wilson can plough a similiar, singular cult furrow to the Wainwrights and Divine Comedys of this world'. Hehe so.. we are his CULT then, yippeee CULT DUKE, Im up for that :)

Anyway 4 stars and a glistening review, well done Duke!!

I bought Q magazine this morning and the feature's excellent and very eye-catching! I wonder if 28 is Duke's stage age? :wink:
