Found this knocking about the net...

It's strange how people perceive pictures and words...

A wee bit off the subject here, but Peter dedicated this beauty to me at the Point at the Patrol gig in Dec. (my bro told his friend that met him before the gig to ask him) You can just imagine my shock when he said, "This is for Rosanna" before he sang it. So thanking you kindly for that Peter. I wish he could have played for longer, it was an amazing perfomance and my first time seeing him, Chip and his crew live. I have kinda been a happy buzz ever since, it was an early Christmas present to say the least. :)

Oh how we remember them.... and you didn't even join us for our champagne breakfast with fried bacon and sausage baps!

YUMMY!

Saying that Scott didn't partake in the challenge of tucking in which them made me think he was vegetarian and I had overlooked that fact... (he isn't btw.. see thread about skinless blue chicken curry)

hehe remember the kitchem conor? '"katie i dont like the sound of your click"

lmao

Fintan
11-01-2007, 11:19 pm
We were probably laughing at the fact the kitchen almost went on fire...also the fact Conor walked down the stairs with a toilet seat in his hand...and so much more the power of drink lets me forget!! That food the next day was yum...I don't understand how Scott can drink JD and coke AND champagne the next morning and still not even have a sausage?!!

Although Champagne breakfasts do sound more appealing

arginite

hehe i forgot about the toilet seat. i remember that now. cos i was in the next room being lazy and heard all this racket... and then just heard conor walking down the stairs saying something about a toilet seat. haha

i remember hearing about the kitchen almost going on fire.. i think i had taken myself off to bed at that stage.. i just remember steve saying something about a towel on the cooker and him rescuing my mac!! woohooo that was lucky ;)

god i was soooo tired the next day. three of us sitting in the car at the castle going urgh... too tired... cant get out.. i jumped out for some snaps alright but wasnt long crawling back in to the cosiness of the car.

here.... scott and sian... remember the power cut and the hot chocs that took 7 hours to get!!!!!!!! LMAO ;)

and of course the sweetest ever going away pressie... awww scotty!!!! and the sweetest ever coming to visit pressie, awwwww sian!!!! yay for alternative ulster, pengy, power cuts, toilet seats, camera clicks, duke, john d'arcyness in the union, scared waiters in the parlour... and of course.. words like uhmayzing, tower and face!!!!!!!

thanks you lot for one of the most fun wkends of 2006

I won't be there cause I have a plane to catch the next day! I get to go over and fill Conor in on what he missed. Although depending on what time the flight is I may go for a weeeee while!

Although travelling to Dublin and then a flight to Austria doesn't seem like the best thing to do when hungover, especially if it would be as bad as I felt on the Sunday after the last one!

Hah, remember that night!

Was just about to drain the system and went to pull up the toilet seat and it just kinda came off in my hand... I thought it was drunk super strength, but no, it was just the house falling apart around us.

Scott DID accually have a bit of my sausage the next morning... so we will have a laugh at that for a while longer.

Canons DO have the worst "click" sound as it goes "beep" like something electronic instead of "snap" like a proper camera should.... ( *cough* NIKON *cough* )

And sadly that day came to a close early because the NHS owning my life at the weekends!

Was a good night though... we should have another one of them bad boys before I make the trip

From the Urban Dictionary

1. frying pan

The rudest term in the english language

"YOU FRYING PAN"

2. frying pan

close friend you grew up with, best friend from back in the day

"I told you my best friend from high school is coming today."
"Oh, you mean your frying pan?"

Not for the faint hearted.. but if you really want to know what scott means by saucepan, link 2 is helpful but a total disgrace :P

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tin+pot+pirate

thesneakybandit

yaaarrrrrr!

i meant none of those...

www.thesneakybanditdictionary.com says:

1. saucepanning (n) [sawss-pan-in]
the act of repeatedly hitting someone with a fecking saucepan

arginite
12-01-2007, 3:45 pm
Indeed. There was no saucepanning of any sort that night. The kitchen was a safe place to be. Noone was mentally or physically scarred that night.

In my defence...he had set the kitchen on fire, I had grabbed the burning items, thrown them out the door where they continued to burn and i was throwing saucepans of water on them and he made a stupid joke and the saucepan didnt appreciate it.

Conor, you were there. in fairness!

Guinness

here, no everyone was downstairs when the kitchen went on fire. yous were all in the living room listening to the tv and we were in the kitchen dancing to spitting games by snow patrol i think! then y'all buggered off to bed before the pizza was cooked.

i claim full responsibility for the fire although i do remember this conversation.

Here Sneaky Conor and I weren't in the living room when the kitchen went on fire, twas only you and Sian that were downstairs!

As Sian and I were talking earlier I came to the conclusion the why can't Duke Special fans be normal, caring and loving people, why do anyones that are a tad normal (bar me and Sian of course, even though she has her anti-bacterial handwash at the ready ''AWH WOW IT MAKES UR HANDS FEEL SO CLEAN IT KILLS 99% OF ALL SKIN BACTERIA'') and why any fans that are normal have to carry about toilet seats and almost burn down kitchens?!

rusty66
12-01-2007, 11:48 pm
THAT WAS TAKEN OUT OF FRICKING CONTEXT!!!

it does kill 99% of all skin bacteria. It is clean and hygienic. And smells of lemons. However I may be starting overuse it already..OCD is appearing a fabulous concept. It gives me character.

Claire made me pee myself a little bit but only cos I HEARTS HER LIKE A SPAZ MOD HEARTS ITS MEDICATION!

arginite
13-01-2007, 11:01 am
EXCUSE ME!!

I am normal and caring and nice... its not my fault if i just happen to find ppl who aren't :(

anyway yeah, claire is right... twas only sian and scott involved in the fire. i actually remember all the events in the house, and def was in bed for the fire.

so the bit of the night that is missing in my mind (which i add has NEVER happened me before) is about an hour or so between having a perfectly normal chat with conor sitting down on the couch in the bar.... then nothing..... until sitting on the wall outside with sneaky and charming the bouncer in the parlour to let me in to the loo... i remember everything after that.

so im just missing that vital 1/2 hours in the pub where all the madness kicked off. ah well.

^Strange but twas very simular goings on here at a recent house party, except rather than food/cooker going on fire it was one of the lads- Me "Dude your arm is on fire!" Fire victim -"Ah sure not to worry" *pats his t-shirt with his hand possibly too drunk to care...I think we spent the next half an hour laughing about his calm reaction to his inflamed clothing, add to that we were pretty merry which makes everything 10 times funnier....Actually add students, alcohol and candles at a house party, fire is inevitable.:smt005 <-----(Sorry Onefreeman but the laughing smiley doesn't work on this forum, I recall it coming up as "x laughing" which doesn't have the same effect, hence me stealing yours. )
