listen guys, a few people on here (myself included) have acquired a promo of the album (and the singles to be honest), but I did so on the basis that I'd be buying it on it's week of release to maximise chart positions in Ireland and the UK.......
......can I count on you all 'playing ball'?

i also have the promos but will be buying every possible format on day of release.
if hmv.co.uk is to be believed the single comes on cd 7" and 12" and the album on cd and limited cd.
now, where did i put that credit card

That's the spirit,
I've made a note of all those who've bragged about having the album promo, and I'll be ticking off their commitment (by them saying 'Aye' on this thread), or I send the boys round

i'll be getting the limited edition cd (hopefully) if you lot haven't already preordered them all :D
i'll also be getting the 7" single because it has 'quiet revoluntionaries' on it...
then i'll be getting the 10" single because it has 'stumble and fall' on it...
(all vinyl measurements and song titles are interchangeable as i can't really remember which is which)

I still havn't heard any clarification to what exactly is on this "limited edition" cd everyone seems to be talking about.
As for the rest, yes I shall be getting them and I have already got my SFTDF album as it was released when I got to Dublin on Friday. There was a mix up with the release dates from what the main man says!
Thought I'd best reply before Duke of Hal sends the heavies round! I'll probably be buying LNIND on CD, 7" and 12", as well as Songs from the Deep Forest on CD.
Is HMV the best place to buy from then?

Hi guys...
All formats bought through 'Recordstore' but popped into my local HMV (The Fort) in Birmingham...(Duke of hal will know it).....Nothing stocked....listed as being released last week and no sign of it being even ordered! Poor show HMV! However they do redeem themselves a little by listing the album in there 'Listen to section'
Glad the rest of you had successes!

Same story here, I went into HMV and erm another big name type place, sorry cant think if it now and they dont have it and said they wont be ordering it in. How is an artist supposed to get his name out there and get more people interested in his music if music shops wont stock his music?! There was plenty of Justin gobshoite and the likes in stock though...typical. Must get a hold of mymums cc and order allll formats online
Incidently though, does anyone in Dublin know where I can pick up the single release? I'll be in town later....

the single and quiet revolutionary
the ep with glimmer girl, from clare to here,1868 version of last night
the ep with stumble and fall and glimmer girl
the single live at the empire belfast

that link is for the irish charts where duke special hit number 31 on the week of release... then dropped to number 75 on week two.
the uk charts are only available online upto number 40. duke special have not made the top 40 so there's no info online!
