help me get a name for my night!

Hello.

I need a name for a music night I might be about to start putting on in Newcastle. At the moment it's "Ian Gordon Presents..." because I can't think of anything else!

I'm aiming to make the night something different to gigs that are out there already. I'll be encouraging bands to unplug and go acoustic for a few songs, break from their normal set to perform covers of their favourite bands/other local bands tracks, perform poetry between songs, get the headliner and support acts to perform together etc. I'll also just generally be looking to put any unusual acts on etc.

Like I say though, I don't have a really good name for the night yet. I want something that stands out. The only reason I'm stuck with 'Ian Gordon Presents...' is because I do a radio show that has connections with local bands and that's the best I can come up with! haha. please help....

Free tickets (and a pint) for the opening night to anyone who can come up with a great name for it!!!

we ran nights almost exactly like this in belfast for 3 years and they were great craic!

our name was "boosh" because the venue was a cafe called "the bush" and when that was said with a northcoast country accent it always sounded like...

"are you goin to tha boosh?"

anyway that's not really any help to you is it!

Well as it's essentially a making a band strip back to basics affair why not call it "(insert the nights headliner) Live Strip Show"? It'll catch people's attention on the flyers too then...
