the one on izumi is vinyl and the one on recordstore.co.uk is cd as far as im aware

That's how it looks to me. Izumi for the Ltd Edition vinyl and recordstore for the cd and dvd bundled together.

The recordstore package advises to "order now and you might receive a signed cd single"

Happened to slip into HMV this afternoon in Durham - busy city lots of students.
In the new singles rack was a card for Duke Special but nothing else...........does that mean they have sold out? No one knew....but it looks good doesn't it?
Made encouraging noises about restocking.

Yeah, i know what you mean. To be honest i expected this version (the dvd version) to be on the single. It must be kicking around somewhere as i'm nearly sure that Gary Lightbody played this version on radio1. I really like the new version, any chance of getting hold of it? :)

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to get the back catalogue sorted out, the only tricky one seems to be Adventures in Gramophone. I'll keep-a-searching though. The one on Ebay is going for a wee bit too much for my finances.

Adventures in Gramophone is made up of the songs from two of the Duke's EPs, which can be purchased through the shop on this site :)

Of course if you are going for completism then you'll need Adventures for the artwork etc :)

i read somewhere on this site that adventures in gramophone was no longer in production so as not to cause confusion over what was duke special's debut album.
