I was meant to be going out last night but cried off so that I could listen to the live session on BBC6. They played Freewheel live as soon as the show started and I assumed it was the new single version, which I've only heard once before. I thought it sounded excellent. Also, Everybody Wants a Little Something and No Cover Up. They all sounded great! I expect you can listen again on BBC6 but I managed to record two thirds of it on a dictaphone (see it has come in handy, Mac!).

BBC6 are also running a Best and Worst Covers thing and Duke's "Stumble and Fall" is listed. You can vote for 3, so I've voted for "Stumble and Fall", Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" and Nick Cave's "Black Betty" (though I wanted to vote for Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" as well).

The link is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/events/covers/ if anyone wants to vote. :)

I listened to the show next day using the listen again thingy - v good - I thought the Duke was on top form.

Also - have voted for Duke's Stumble and Fall in the covers in the 6music covers thing along with Ryan Adam's version of Wonderwall and Ben Folds doing Tiny Dancer.

Thanks for this thread.

With Seth and Levs on Radio 2/XFM - now and in the future - I'm having trouble remembering what's on when!

Just listening now!
