got this idea from the book... thought it would be fun to see what she believes...
i have a three year old cousin... she now believes that i am the queen and the moon is a cracker hung by cheese wire from her window... her granny phoned today and asked me why emily was jumping at the window and trying to eat the moon... hehe

I made my 3 year old niece believe I could talk to Santa by pressing magic buttons on my mobile! On Christmas morning "santa" had wrapped her doll but not her pram. Therefore when she came down she saw the pram but no doll so she ran and grabbed my phone and told me to phone Santa and tell him to come back that night with her dolly to put in her pram :)

Being the youngest of 7 my brothers and sister used to tell me all the lies of the day...My sister told me santa had a wee pouch of magic dust in his belt and thats how he got the sack of toys in and out of the chimneys!
I tell lies to my wee cousins all the time and forget what I've told them, I think they try to catch me out, they'd ask me the same question twice and if I gave a different answer the second time they'd just re-tell me my first answer anyways!
My nephew believes that if a car hits him, his dad can bring him to the hospital and they will blow him back up again like a cartoon character.
Not my fault tho, too much tom and jerry cartoons :D
I once convinced him that the house alarm was a monster that would eat him, he then didnt want to go to bed. Learned my lesson the hard way.

she will have forgotten it all by now... and she is a very clever little girl so she knows about the moon and that it is not a cracker, as well i am very proud of my cousin and it is only rarely that i teach her silly things. its all just fun and she knows it.
on another note i managed in the same day to get her older brother to count to ten in spanish... great wee accent he has.

A friend was told as a small child that the verges on the side of the motorway were used for growing polyester, that it was cut at night and thats why it was always short. She believed every word and even tried to share the information with others...
Fantastic!

from my window there is a section of land in nearly exactly the same shape as northern ireland. when i moved here from dublin my grandmother *being the dear woman she is :)* told me that it was all of northern ireland... and the bit of land just apart from it was the North Pole. Imagine being in P3 when you are learning about the North Pole and saying
"I can see that from my window" and arguing that it was not snowy!!!!

My nephew believes that his favourite Uncle (me) was once a member of The Beatles.
Oh, and Boyzone too.
He boasts to his friends of the fact.
Wonder where he got that idea?
