just back home now in roscommon after 3 fantastic days in belfast. Great to meet some of you members even if it was just a quick handshake with some of you.
There is no need for me to post anything about the gig. Scott has that completely covered, except to say it was without doubt the best gig I was ever at.
Sitting in morrisons with mrs. old git before the gig it was amazing to hear from the next table "LOOK ITS OLD GIT" . I have to say that Connor you are a true gent and it was great to meet you and claire, good luck and have a great time in Austria.
On wednesday we took the coast road and went as far as Giants Causway. got photos of me there in the pouring rain! Thursday was spent in belfast city , went on the tour bus, had a drink in the europa and saw "cats" at the royal opera house.Having never been to belfast before, didnt know what to expect, but I can tell you we will be back, loved every minute.

Hi Mr Old Git!

Apolgies I didn't get a chance to properly speak with you and I was a bit confused when Conor came over and shouted in my ear "Sian, its old git!" I thought he was being rude!! :D Glad you had a great time though!

Could well be, either that or three sold out nights in the Ulster Hall

i actually hope not. it's a corporate hell hole with poor atmosphere, lousy staff and can usually ensure that a terrible evening is had by all regardless of who is playing. i think duke would be more suited to the waterfront stage.

Would be inclined to agree with you there Scott, venue atmosphere is so important and the Odyssey has the atmosphere of an abbatoir :(
