He's only been a way for days but things are looking bad already :D

Michael Patton, corporate relations director, Diageo Ireland, says

"The problem is they are consuming less Guinness than before,"

Who the heck is this guy? before I left I was comsuming more guinness than most people care to handle!

Saying that... I'm on some staggerbrowsen now or something due to the cheapness of it! A pint of the black gold over here costs about ?6.30.

Still miss home a bit, seeing as the laptop is in Belfast and I an nowhere near it!

lol, I didn't realise what an impact your absence would have on Guinness sales Conor!!
I must double my Guinness intake until you return to cushion the blow :roll:

Ok the laptop is at home but I can safely assume you have the camera with you so we're expecting some pics :D

Don't worry Diageo....................Cheltenham Festival starts Tuesday :D

I personally will be there and boosting their profits to previously unknown levels - so all will be well in the Guinness garden once more :wink: :wink: :wink:

it's strange, I've never known more people drinking guinness than these days. Though they are mainly British. I think the export is also better than ever before, even in a beer-country like Belgium Guinness is widely available on draught (be it in the Irish themed pubs, of which there are plenty)...

Draught Guinness can even be found in the middle of Venice in a British/Irish themed bar called The Devils Forest. :D
