Duke,
Would you consider composing a collection of songs based on some of the the classic Grimm's Fairy Tales?
Obviously, not all 210 of them. That's a bit of a big ask:)
Or would you ever consider doing your own version of Peter And The Wolf?

With Chip as the wolf then?

Whether he considers it or not is another question:) I'll give him a year or so before I get impatient as i'd say he's pretty busy.
Maybe he could have it done before my homecoming back up north next year?;)

Wild ideas!
Doing something Grimm is rather like what The Tiger Lillies do (I'm getting into them and have recently joined their forums where - amazingly - the people are just as nice as here).
If it's PETER AND THE WOLF, you have to get me involved. My life ambition is to narrate it. When I was an actor for money (as opposed to being the wanton theatrical slut I am now) I was once asked to do that job fronting a full orchestra. It didn't happen in the end, but I still want to do it! That'd have to be PETER AND THE BUNNY, though.

Putting it that way wouldn't be helpful GG! For the life of me I can't recall a bunny in the narrative!
However there is a case to be made for P and the W but is it Grimm? I really wouldn't know.
My fairy tale reading began and ended at age 8 when I was confined to bed for some reason I forget. Since then I've just dipped in and out. Grimm Bros et al ceased to be PC when I was teaching in the 70s and 80s and I had no child to relate them to until 1988.
Lol! At about 3 she begged me to stop singing to her! That good eh?
I feel there's something important brewing with the quality of talent involved here!! Very excited:D
Please give us a hint Dukester!!
