Duke, what are your favourite 3 smells? And evryone elses for that matter.
In no particular order, mine are -
Bacon being cooked
Burning wood
Lingering smell of my favourite womans perfume (there's a dual meaning here, but dont tell the wife!!)

ps, If we are doing smells, why not tastes as well?
I lost my sense of smell (and taste) for several years. Better than losing sight, hearing or feeling! Having said that you miss out on so many of life's little pleasures when you can't smell or taste!
Mine would be:
pine forests
cocoanut
freshly ground coffee

Bread being freshly baked.
Petrol
I like that earthy smell you get sometimes after it has been raining!
Can I have a 4th? The Fresh Sea Air.

I use re-useable nappies now and have done on all three. Much easier these days I bet!!!
My nose refuses to acknowledge the smell of freshly cut grass so I would choose the perfume of meadow hay,
Johnson's Baby Powder (and the memory of that new baby scent)
and growing lavender.......mmmm!......instant aromatherapy:)
