Hang on - before Dukester reads this and see's it as a monster touring festival - I never mentioned DF, DM or TMc, although if it were to happen, I'm happy to take the credit.

Hello Mister Duke of Hal, long time no see! Foy and I have spoken lots about shows together over the last few years but it just hasn't worked out for one reason or another. It will happen at some point but at the moment Foy is leaving as a goat herd in Wales and I acting as a trampoline instructor just north of Ipswich. Will keep you posted though.

Ps. I am rediscovering the pleasures of that Decemberists CD you gave me ages ago, so thanks for that :)

Actually, I mispoke earlier...you all know full well that I would come over simply to see the wonderful Duke, Mr. Vance would be a wonderful bonus, while the addition of DF would just put it over the top fantastic!

Hey guys,

I'm really lucky. After having met Foy a year ago and organizing a gig in Switzerland which was postponed due to the vulcano, I must say: I was lucky, lucky, lucky. Because the postponed show will include Duke Special.

We will have Foy Vance and Duke Special together on the same stage on October 29th 2010 in Brugg, Switzerland. So buy a easyjet ticket and a ticket to the show (http://www.salzhaus-brugg.ch)

I'm really proud to have them together. I will let you know what you missed after the gig...

Alas and alack - too many things already planned so the "easyjet - gig - home" plan for Switzerland cannot come to fruition - so it's toblerone by the hi-fi for me with a CD-R mash of Duke and Foy ...

So I'm hoping our two heroes will buckle under the pressure of our collective lurve and appreciation and do a few gigs before the yuletide - free toblerone bars optional !!!
