Which city is the recording studio in? Can we specify the day? Thanks!

London. Can't specify day but we'll offer alternatives if necessary!

Oh great! I'd expected Belfast. That makes things cheaper!

Oh, I thought Belfast as well. London would be easier for me to reach. Now I'm tempted...

Is there any time frame for that already?

Can you elaborate on what this is likely to involve? Will it just be sitting in the corner watching or would there be an opportunity to chat to the Duke about his equipment and methods and maybe learn something?

The reason I ask is I'm a former music technology student with aspirations to work in that area so it would increase my chances of buying if that was the case :)

Someone is already busy arranging it right now! Actually I'd pledge for instructions on how to make a Stumpy! Or a ready made one......? Hows about a visit to Ben Castle's tailor?:D

The idea is a mixture of time in the control room and live room seeing how things are done, and some time in a viewing space watching takes etc...I'll be back in touch re likely date(s) shortly

Aww! That's lovely! What a wonderful idea. They will have such fun on Christmas Day - hope you won't be regretting it by lunchtime though! :)

Imagine a link up, Belfast, London & Dublin all doing the cover! It would be amazing. Move over Band Aid!!!!!

Just a pity I can't sing.

Making tea, my expertise!! :) Need a bit of practice on the spoons though.

If it helps, I could slurp a cup of that tea in time with the spoon riffs ;)

Classy touch.......and I'm honoured to greet our first canonised board member. Could you change the tea into something stronger to make the recording go with a swing?

PS Sorry atkygal! Must have missed your post about the Stumpies What a useful father-in-law you have. The kids are going to love them:D

That's hard to say as it depends a bit on musician avails and whether we are behind or ahead of schedule - but things don't usually start before 11 and will sometimes go on late into the night, although we won't force anyone to stay!!

Hi Phil,

Is there any update on when the likely recording studio dates are going to be... even a vague period of weeks or the month would help! I'm just trying to think ahead with work and make sure I'm definitely booked off.

And do we bring our own percussive instruments or are these provided on the day
