Duke's set could have done with being much longer and Gemma Hayes' set about an hour shorter!! :wink: Still, the 2 Elvis fanatics that I took with me enjoyed it and were well impressed with Chip's percussion skills, and Duke's amazing voice. We liked the venue too and stayed for the club after - we had an excellent time. :D

I only got to hear some of soundcheck and the end of Duke Special at Oxford (being busy getting mailing list addys for Gemma Hayes), but liked what I heard enough to buy the CD at the end of the night...it hasn't been out of the CD players since! Brilliant! Now I know what I missed I am totally gutted!

Hurry back to Oxford soon!

You must have been one of the bods who tried to accost us on the stairs going up to the gig - I think we brushed you aside and said we were only interested in the Duke! Sorry about that :oops: . Shame you missed most of his set! Next time .....
