Are the whole band going to be at this one or is it just going to be the same as in the Lisburn Arts Centre? (or has the lineup changed to that since the last time in the Empire? )

I have to agree with the money for Snow Patrol being excessive! That why I went to Botanic Gardens with a friend, we had a perfect view of the stage and the sound was excellent! Left after Duke, the rain had just started pretty bad! Have to say one of the best duke gigs that we've seen for free! Doubt he'll be playing in Madden's or Katy's again any time soon!

Good show, probably the most entertaining act of the day other than the great Snow Patrol themselves.
Loving the whole "pushing and falling over the piano onstage" thing! Really good!
I was just waiting for the record on top of the piano to shatter into athousand pieces... but thank goodness it didnt!

No way, can't believe I missed The Duke. Taxi was late and we got there just after 6.30. Oh well I still have the memories of last week. I'd appreciate anyone commenting on the performance and the line up etc...
Thanks mucho
David
PS, stayed for Patrol in the end :D Had a great time.

Ta for the pics Guinness. I spotted Temperance Chip in the crowd during snow patrol but didn't see the man himself. I'll second the call for a video on youtube!!

Those pics are excellent guiness!
Duke was definetly the best act at t-vital, but it felt like he was on for the shortest time ever.... Portrait and Salvation Tambourine were absolutely amazing, you just feel so happy hearing them when he's right there in front of you. I thought the editors were very very repeptitive and Snow Patrol were quite good.

Hi Folks,
Eventually getting time to post again. Well I got a press pass for Duke's set (a big HUGE thank you to Duke and Phil).
Unfortunately, the stage was miles too high for the support acts, so most of the time, I just got the top of people's heads :(
Again, excuses about the crap lens - I've spotted the one I'm looking for, so just saving time required.
My photos are here:

I'm just glad to be escaping with a working camera after all the rain!
I'll upload them to the site later, along with the ones from Lisburn.
Steve.

Thanks Claire! Though I really can't wait to get a proper lens, so I can compete with the big boys :)
I updated the gallery there, no new photos, but a fancier viewer!
I hope it works fine for everybody?

just got around to uploading all my T Vital pictures - Duke Special shots definitely my favourite - check them out @ www.livemusicpics.com
Duke played a blinder - the most enjoyable set of the festival (although closely followed by Editors and Republic of Loose for me).
