I get it from the severly over priced source know as vinyl exchange...
You pay the extra bit of loot, but if your a collector then money is no object.
I paid a fiver for the one song single.
And to date I think I have every single release whether it be promo, official, vinyl, CD, album, single or Ep's of the Duke's work. (that doesn't include Booley or Benzine Headset)
However a certain someone told me I was missing a promo called "a forest opera" or something. But I don't know which songs this promo has on it.

Well I know you're missing out on "If you go down to the woods" promo which has No Cover Up, Quiet Revolutionaries, Stumble and Fall and Low (live) which I've got! :D
But I haven't bought any of the single track promos...
That's great news about Radio 2 Single of the Week. A few friends have mentioned recently that they've heard Duke on Radio 2. :)

I've been wondering if this might happen. I hope it's ok to say that his music seems to me naturally more suited to Radio 2 than Radio 1- you know, shows evidence of tunes, crafted lyrics that mean something, instruments played by people........etc etc
editing to say a couple of weeks ago I spoke to Chris Evans' researcher requesting a song on his Friday show- last night I nearly died I think, for my kids who love it. He said who? when I said who by.
Maybe by the end of next week he'll know....
Information alert!
I believe that Radio 2 has more listeners that Radio 1 AND they're more discerning, intelligent, erudite listeners which is what comprises a Duke Special fan :D
I can't wait for next week as I listen to Radio 2 most of the time anyway...........at last they've heeded all my messages and seen the light :D
My work is done 8)

You and me both- the listening bit not the messaging bit as I'm such a newbie. Fraid I have a few radio 4 leanings as well, I'm that erudite.......
Hehe! You rumbled me! I listen to R4 in the mornings before Ken Bruce and I don't like to miss Popmaster :D Even try to coincide journeys between jobs so I can listen on the car radio!
I know, I know........ :(
Most of the rest of the day is R2. Difficult to break the habits of 30 years!

And Freewheel is now on Radio 2 'A' Playlist- which means lots of playing... :D
Yes......that's next week's playlist and guarantees at least 20 plays a week.....if only we can stop Ken Bruce spreading rumours that Duke is Welsh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
