Today FM have won station of the year two years in a row in a poll.
They have a jingle promoting the fact (as is their wont)
The jingle uses Freewheel as a background and it uses it to very dramatic effect.
It was done with a lot of finesse I thought?
My favourite Duke Special track varies from day to day and depends on the particular mood I'm in at at the time but Freewheel is SUCH a great song .
Radio has never sounded so good!

Duke was interviewed on the Ian Dempsey breakfast show this morning apparently! I didnt know... but my housemate just said they heard it at work today... anyone catch it?

I'll checkout the podcast tomorrow and see.

So there I was driving from Roscommon to Longford, a journey of about half an hour, very tedious, when at 8.45 Ian Dempsey played Last night I nearly died. Thats great I thought. Couldn't beleive it after the record when Ian Dempsey announces that Duke is in the studio with him!!!!! Very good interview and dempsey made all the right noises about upcoming awards. Then just Peter and piano did Freewheel live on radio. Absolutley stunning, Many texts coming in to the show, obviously great support out there. Made a tedious journey very enjoyable.
