OK, I wasn't there.
I kind-of converted a friend of mine who lives in Belgium. On a holiday in Iceland last December I had WAKE UP SCARLETT on a CD I put together for the trip, and I also e-mailed him and other friends shots from the ULU gig I'd taken.
He went out and bought SFTDF and a ticket for this gig and has just got back from it. He sent me an e-mail and has said it's OK to put it up here :
just got back from what was by all acounts a great gig. and i couldn't have had picked my spot better, right in the middle of frontrow, had a perfect view on all bandmembers (and had i been you i would have been taking great pictures all evening)(during the support act i was pretty much standing face to face with the leadsinger while he was playing his synth)
the drummer (chip?) nearly hit me with his gratter when he swayed out to hit the drums, that's how close i was standing oh, and during the last encore (you are my sunshine) i jumped on the stage (together with a few other people) so i was able to see the band in the middle of the crowd
tapped the gig, i listened to the first two songs (it seemed okay) the disc was full when i checked at the end of the gig. not sure how much i have, but guessing from when i started recording i would say the last five/ten (at most) minutes are missing (i just hope i have most of the encortes before 'you are my sunshine')
