However I'll be at both Oxegen and Electric Picnic, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much to me! maybe he'll re-enact last year's EP performace and near kill himself by 'jumping' into the crowd again :D

I don?t know where you are getting all the money from to go to both EP and Oxegen, the tickets are like 200 yoyos each! and then you?ve got the daunting task of getting yourself down there and food, tent etc etc...

Being honest, Oxegen is one of the poorest festivals I?ve ever been to! Go to the continent and find yourself a super one instead!

That said, I?m going to Oxegen this year for reasons that its closer than Germany when I get home!

i was going to go to oxegen purely to see arcade fire but the oxegen tickets sold out just as quickly as the original arcade fire gig tickets had.

i'm still considering going to electric picnic and hoping that face value tickets appear on ebay for events closer to the time.

ps. i think i'm the only member of the drop-d team that isn't blagging my way into either festival.

pps. i normally wouldn't piss on oxegen if it was on fire. and last year it [allegedly] was! :D

As for the fire thing... our whole crew of about 33 people got chucked out last year at 5 in the morning becase the security thought it was us burning down the house *whistles tune in head*

all the "early bird" tickets for ep have gone.

the rest (according to ep site) go on sale mid to late march but i won't be holding my breath trying to get one off of ticketmaster again.

Thats the only reason why we really got ours!

We literally bought them within an hour of our flight to the Czech Republic...

Going to ressurect this seeing as there has been a lot of talk recently about it.

Whose definately / thinking off / wishing to go to this this year?

Apart from the happens at last year's event (that WON'T be discussed further if you wish for this forum to remain opperational) I believe that all the new additions to this year's event will add a whole new meaning to the Irish Music Festival business.

Some of the new features are:

24 hour guarded lockers for valuables.
Two "food villages" for healthy food (God only knows what they call healthy).
Camp aids for n00bs having difficulty with putting up their tents.
2 Centra stores within the campsite confinments.
Podpads and Tangerine Fields are available for the delicate of us who don't want to camp it out and rather have a bit of luxury for the extra cash.And more than likely the usual gumph from all the other years there also!

Ok so it's no european festival by far but there's your update. We are slowly getting there...

I am going to try to get a ticket. If ANYONE hears of a ticket, camping or non camping PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me!! If I cant get campin, my mate lives 15 mins outside the racecourse and I can kip with her and shower and eat real food and be nice and clean yeeeo!

My family never know what to get me for birthdays or Christmas, so they stick with what they know i will love - music related stuff. So parents got me oxegen ticket, siblings got me EP ticket :)
