Hi everyone,
I am a Leitirm man who is currently living in Switzerland.
I had the privilige of seeing the Duke in concert in Vevey, Switzerland last nite 22nd March 2007. What an amazing gig. A truely inspiring performance. Its great to see such a bunch of talented musicians actually doing what they do best amidst all the shite music that is currently spoiling our global airwaves.
The Duke and company without a doubt have a very bright future in store.
Catchy, creative and innovative music and lyrics....truely a musical journey!
The gig was very enjoyable. The guys played a lot from songs from the deep forest and kept the audience mesmorised for the entire nite. Peters french also proved a hit with the predomincantly local crowd. My only criticism is with the swiss audience who at time resembled a bunch of old age pensioners with their energy levels and general movement. In addition i think the drink sales for the nite can be attributed to the 2 irish that were present and the band :)
But seriously, great gig. Hope to see the Duke in concert again real soon.
