Does anyone know yet what day the Duke is playing? I know The Divine Comedy are on the friday- however if I was a promotor I'd deliberately put the 2 bands on different dates to make sure people will pay more, since I should think there'll be a large audience overlap!

Doesn't really matter a great deal for the promotor as you can only get tickets for the whole do (3 days). And I dunno about the DS people but the DC people don't seem too keen on camping anyway, so that's no extra income for the promotor either.

I spoke to De Montford this morning and they will probably be doing day tickets, but not until june/july. However, by waiting, it could be that DC and DS are playing on different days and that we'd then have to buy 2 day passes instead of the weekend one. Think I'm going for the weekend one anyway! You're right about the camping- definitely not my thing!

I'm gonna give the festivals a miss I think, they're never value for money, they're often full of obnoxious drunk people and I've seen the Duke 10 times in the timespan of 6 months, so I'll manage for a bit, I think....

Unless he's doing a small coozy Belgian festival...that'll change my viewpoint completely....
