Tutorial: Posting a youtube video

Hi Folks,
I've made little mod to make it easy to embed a youtube video.
For this example, I will post Duke's "Freewheel" video.

The full URL to the video is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gja_17zZgZQ

To embedded this video into the forum simply take everything after the "=" in the URL and post it in between "" and "".</YOUTUBE>

So simply typing:
Gja_17zZgZQ
Will give you:
Gja_17zZgZQ

Hi Drummer B, yeah it's from Haldern Pop Festival @ festival guide Stand, it's held in Germany I think.... It's class isn't it!!! Hey how did ya post it?? Still having trouble??:confused:

Yeah I tried posting the video but still won't work for me:confused: Where do you put the code when you've copied it from youtube??:confused::confused:

That is all you need you type. Each Youtube video has its own URL. Just copy everything after the = in the URL and post it exactly as Steve did there :)

Edit - Obviously delete the 3qRf76ww42o and replace it with the code in whatever video you want to post :D

Ah, ok, there's your problem :)
You're using the { and } symbols instead of the [ and ] symbols. You also need to put the / in before youtube in the second bracketed part :D

Edit - Obviously delete the 3qRf76ww42o and replace it with the code in whatever video you want to post :D

You need to use the square bracket which is on the same keys as you found the { and } symbols, just don't hold down the shift key when you press them :)

I have a collage of Duke photo's which I would like to put onto youtube/my IPOD & would like to put Duke's music behind it. Anyone have any idea's how to do this?? :confused:
