I want to find out how it was recorded, it sounds as though the mike was either at the foot of the piano, or actually inside it if you turn it up loud

After extensive research, (read: listening to Hector Mann on loop in school) I have decided that Scandal is my favourite. I usually can't choose favourites in an album, but if my playcount is anything fo go by, then Scandal rates number 1.
I'm going to start re-reading The Book Of Illusions soon, so I'll try and get the pages of the descriptions of each film. No promises though, I might forget all about it whilst getting lost in the story. I fully intend to make the Silent World Of Hector Mann familiar territory, so it's just like a second home. Let's go exploring! |

You've inspired me Jodie! I'm going back to the Book of Illusions as my bedtime reading tonight and let's cobble a list together between us! I'm humming Tango Tangle fairly constantly, Prop Man too. The mental images conjured up by both are very compulsive. They have that frenetic mayhem of the Keystone Cops which were a highlight of my childhood.....much more ingenious than just pure slapstick....all in the timing and oh so clever
The writing by Ben and Thomas of these two songs is inspirational![]() xx

You've clearly been thinking about how to incorporate moustaches into your show attire, but have you thought about how to get to the show in moustache style? LOL

Never mind Bunny Ears, how about sporting a Hector Mann moustache at the gigs on the tour. Could make a cut out of the hand and the moustache as on the Hector Mann cover.

[QUOTE=beth gaddis;58330]Some might describe us quite differently beth! - We can't manage a full size "Bus-tashe" but we would like each tour destination to know the Duke's in town!
We're hoping one or two other fans might go for the "pimp my ride" idea to promote Duke and Hector - got to be comic to see several moustached cars in the gig carpark! :o![]() Any letters or shapes can be cut out of the plastic film which uses no adhesive and is called "static film". It is usually used to stick sale prices on cars and as far as I can find is only available in white or clear.

The creator of this post sings along with the backing track to the song. I played it along with the Duke version and once they were in synchrony it was a really nice duet.
