We are releasing “Wanda” as a radio single around the time of the UK and Ireland tours!
(Note - radio single means, in modern parlance, a song that we point radio programmers in the direction of playing, as opposed to the good old days when it was available in multiple formats over vinyl, cassette and CD with different B sides, some playing cards, and a poster. Sadly.)
However! We’re after fan-made promo videos for the song! We’ll put our favourites on YouTube etc. If there are any that we really love, we’ll incorporate them into the film footage we use on the UK or Irish tour, depending on when we receive them…
Do you know any budding filmmakers? If so, this will be an exciting project for them! The rules are simple - make a video of any sort, set to Wanda! Will you use old out-of-copyright footage, or star in your own mini epic adventure? Find out by starting today!
ATL Headroom and brand new cover!
Duke recently performed on Radio Ulster’s Across The Line special Headroom show. This saw an impressive array of top local bands play one of their own songs plus a unique cover. As usual, Duke set the bar incredibly high with an outstanding version of two equally impressive songs. Click here to view Duke’s performance.
New London and Irish tour dates!
New second London show added - or about to be added - on May 14 at the Shaw Theatre, London. This way, you definitely find out first! Also, Newcastle Cluny is about to sell out… Click here to get in before they do!
Also Warrenpoint on June 12th! All details on website, facebook etc as soon as we have them…
Lastly, another new date, this time Aug 21st this time in Iontas Theatre Castleblayney, Co Monaghan!
New MP3 Digital Duke shop
This is now up and running after a minor teething glitch.
To celebrate, we’re offering free Duke Special playing cards for every physical order in April!

Duke Special Hoxton gig recording
This will shortly be available to everyone who was at the recent Pledge show, as well as everyone who is a member of the digital fanclub membership. Some of the digital fanclub anual memeberships are begining to expire, but we are shortly going to move the forum to a new server. Until this happens (we’ll let you know) please hold off signing up or renewing your subscrption until we have moved servers. Once this has happened, the full gig will be available to download for all! And of course, you will still have access to the archive of matieral.
