Duke plays Treaty: Songs event at Dublin NCH on Saturday 11th December.

Duke is delighted to have been asked to be part of a show at the National Concert Hall in Dublin called Treaty: Songs which will take place on Saturday 11th December.
This project sees some of Ireland’s leading songwriters writing and performing songs to create portraits of a generation in a moment of suspended animation: December 1921 when Irish representatives gathered to debate the Anglo-Irish Treaty at the Kevin Barry Rooms at Earlsfort Terrace (which is now NCH). That treaty would lead to the Irish Civil War and prove a defining moment in the history of the Irish state.
Duke’s contribution is a song about Erskine Childers and he will be performing it on the night accompanied by Crash Ensemble.
The line-up also includes Lisa O’Neill, Gemma Dunleavy, John Spillane, Karan Casey, Maija Sofia and Jonathan Nangle and very special guest Christy Moore.
Tickets to watch the show in person are €20, but if you can’t make it to Dublin, you can buy a ticket to watch a live stream of the whole event for €10.
