New Duke Special album available to pre-order on vinyl NOW!
Posted on Thursday 18th May
We are thrilled to be launching a pre-order campaign for the new Duke Special album on vinyl. The campaign starts today on Duke’s Advocate website here:
A message from Duke:-
My new album, ‘Blood for Ghosts’, is the result of my encounter with an archive of old sheet music from the Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco. The collection was bought by Princess Grace in 1977 from a Michael E. O’Donnell from Philadelphia and comprises over 1000 song sheets dated between 1840-1970. The ten songs I chose for the album were recorded at Bannview Studio in Portglenone by Séan Óg Graham and were mixed at Echo Zoo in Eastbourne by Dave Lynch. I can’t wait for you to hear them!
The campaign is currently just for pre-ordering the album on vinyl (which will also include a download code). The record has been mastered and the artwork is being designed and then the vinyl will go into production. We will reveal the artwork as soon as it is finished.
You can order an exclusive Limited Edition Signed & Numbered version. These were limited to 100 copies, but sold out within 24 hours of being announced, and due to high demand, we have decided to add 30 more copies. Once these are sold, there will be NO MORE AVAILABLE. They are available ONLY as a pre-order on a first-come, first-served basis.
You can also order a signed copy or a standard version. They are all on heavyweight black vinyl and will include a download code.
Limited Edition Signed & Numbered - £30 (30 more copies available)
Signed Edition - £25
Standard Edition - £22
All prices include postage & packing costs.
We hope to release the album in October, as long as there are no unforseen delays in production. As soon as we have a better idea of time-lines for artwork and manufacture, we will announce the official release date.
